To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FaceLive disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, security and non-infringement.
2. User-generated content
Each user is solely responsible for what they publish.
FaceLive is a platform that allows users to publish video logs, comments, photos and messages. We do not pre-moderate all content and we are not responsible for the opinions, accuracy or lawfulness of material posted by users.
- You are solely responsible for the content you upload.
- Do not publish material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, violent or that infringes third-party rights.
- Do not impersonate other people or share private information without consent.
- You can report inappropriate content directly from the app or by writing to support@facelive.net.
3. Geolocation and personal safety
Sharing your position requires caution.
FaceLive uses geolocation to display videos and people near you. Sharing your position is voluntary and can be revoked at any time from your device's privacy settings or your FaceLive profile.
- Do not arrange in-person meetings with strangers in private or unsafe places.
- Do not share your home address, real-time movements or sensitive data with people you do not know.
- FaceLive is not responsible for events occurring offline as a consequence of contacts initiated through the platform.
4. Intellectual property
Respect copyright and trademarks.
The FaceLive name, logo, graphics and software are the property of FaceLive or its licensors. By uploading content, you grant FaceLive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within the service.
If you believe your work has been used without authorisation, contact us at support@facelive.net to submit a takedown request.
5. External links and third-party services
We do not control external sites or services.
FaceLive may contain links to external sites, embedded content (e.g. YouTube videos) or third-party services (advertising via Google AdSense, mapping services, payment providers). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices or availability of such third parties.
6. Limitation of liability
No liability for indirect or incidental damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaceLive, its founders, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the service.
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
- Statements or conduct of any third party on the service.
- Any other matter relating to FaceLive.
7. Service availability
No uptime guarantee.
We strive to keep FaceLive available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical failures or events beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice.
8. Children and minors
Service intended for users 14 years of age or older.
FaceLive is intended for users aged 14 years or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this minimum age. Where required by local law, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is necessary. We will promptly delete accounts found to belong to underage users.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
Italian law applies.
This disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Republic of Italy. Any dispute arising from the use of FaceLive shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in the place of the user's residence, where such user qualifies as a "consumer" under applicable law.
