Who We Are
OrionEye is a free OSINT & geospatial intelligence platform for research and education. Fully GDPR-compliant.
What We Collect
- IP address & browser info — security logs, 30 days
- Username & email — only if you register (optional)
- Analytics (GA4) — only with your consent, anonymized
- Location (IP-based) — session only, not stored
What We Do NOT Collect
- ❌ No facial recognition or biometrics
- ❌ No behavioral profiles
- ❌ No financial or health data
- ❌ No cross-site tracking
- ❌ No data sold to third parties
How Long We Keep Data
- Server logs: 30 days → auto-deleted
- Account data: until you delete → erased in 30 days
- Analytics: 14 months (anonymized by Google)
- Chat/commands: session only → gone on tab close
- API cache: 5–15 minutes → RAM only
Third-Party Services
API calls run server-side — your IP is never shared with third parties. Services: Google Maps, Gemini AI, GA4, OpenChargeMap, OpenSky, NASA, RIPE, GDELT, Windy, NewsAPI.
US transfers covered by EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Security
TLS 1.3 encryption, UFW firewall, rate limiting, SSH key auth, CSP headers, bcrypt passwords, no SQL database.

Biometrics & Video
No biometric data is ever collected. No facial recognition, no deepfakes, no voice analysis. Traffic camera feeds are displayed in real-time and never recorded.
